About the Author

My husband Rick and I on our 10th anniversary!

Hi! I’m Jen!

So glad you’re here!! Here’s some information about me – I love reading author bios so I thought I should tell you some things about myself! I enjoy studying the Bible, making awesome discoveries in it, hearing God’s voice, journaling, watching my favorite movies again and again, joking around with my husband, homeschooling my kids, and singing, very loudly, especially in the car and around the house. I even sing with the radio at stores, just because I feel like it.Β  I love being silly, being serious, and learning new things about God, my family, my friends, my children! (I also love exclamation marks!) I have four kids, and Rick and I have been married for 10 years now! (Since July 2009.) I love my website and have posted on it for almost 9 years now. Unfortunately I’m not too good at advertising and I lost my 100 subscribers, so I don’t feel like I have much to show for it. Nonetheless I enjoy writing on it so I hope you will be blessed by what you read here! Now tell your friends haha!

Also, I wrote a book in 2011, about some spiritual gifts – healing, prophecy and speaking in tongues. It’s only $2.99 on kindle, $10 for paperback. I prefer paperback myself, but wanted to make it available for cheap too.

I’m working on a new book, hoping to self-publish it in 2020 but we’ll see what God has to say about that. It’s going to be a devotional book for new moms. I’ll let you know when it’s out!

Oh, I also like learning about personality types.

I am enneagram 7, and Myers-Briggs personality type: ESFP. If you know anything about 7s or ESFPs, you might understand why I write on here so spontaneously! At least I have a lot of content now…because it goes back years and years! haha. At least I am loyal πŸ™‚

  1. Thank you for signing up to follow “Our Father’s Daughter’s”. I have experienced God’s healing power in my life many times, most notably in 1953 when I was 2 and had polio, and in 1990 when I had breast cancer. God has blessed me abundantly. I look forward to reading your posts. God Bless You!

  2. Hey Jennifer! Wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award today. I love your stuff, and so thankful for how you point us to the truth. πŸ™‚

  3. If you read my blog today, you’ll see the “rules” listed there. I followed them as closely as I could, but for time’s sake I can’t let everyone know I nominated them. Hopefully they read the blog! Lol. You get to put the award on your blog and list 7 random facts about yourself, then nominate other bloggers. πŸ™‚ Have a great day!
